As a seasoned finance professional in his previous role, Salifu provided invaluable strategic guidance to the executive teams, enhancing financial operations and processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. He also has a good understanding of the oil and gas value chain.
Salifu co-founded the Finance Leadership Forum with colleagues and started as the first Membership and Public Relations Manager before his current election as the President. During the first three years, the forum launched quarterly webinars and organized more than four physical events that drew over 200 professionals. In addition, as part of his social enterprise, Salifu served as Treasurer of the Pakau Njogu Village Development Association. In this voluntary role, he served on committees that have implemented career-changing initiatives to encourage and mentor young people in the Village.
Salifu Bah holds an MSc in Finance and Investment from the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
